Terms of service

Last updated 11 October 2026

1. Who we are

Leadaby is provided by SCA Systems Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17459287, registered office Piccadilly Business Centre, Aldow Enterprise Park, Manchester, M12 6AE, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Contact: support@leadaby.com, or privacy@leadaby.com for anything about personal data.

"You" means the business that holds the Leadaby account, and the people it lets use it.

2. Business use only

Leadaby is for businesses, freelancers and agencies using it in the course of their work, not for consumers. You confirm you are at least 18 and allowed to agree to these terms for your business.

3. Your account

  • Keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account and workspace.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account.
  • The people you invite to your workspace can see and change its leads, calls and notes.

4. Plans and prices

Starter£39 · 49300Up to 35Not included
Growth£129 · 1492,500Up to 200Up to 300
Agency£249 · 2997,500Up to 500Up to 1,000

A new lead is a new business that a search adds to your list. Finding a business already on your list is free, and every lead is checked for a real website before you call. Searching is part of every plan, and Aby AI and enhanced search are part of Growth and Agency, each up to the monthly limit in the table, which is also shown when you choose a plan and at checkout. Long Aby AI questions use more of its allowance than quick ones, so you may get fewer than the most. The app shows how much is left once you have used most of it.

The price shown is the price you pay. SCA Systems Ltd is not registered for VAT, so while that is the case no VAT is added to UK prices, and no sales tax is added to US prices at checkout. US customers pay in US dollars.

We may change prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email, and the new price starts from your next billing month after that.

5. Billing, upgrades, downgrades and cancelling

  • Plans are paid monthly in advance, by card through Stripe. Your plan renews each month until you cancel.
  • Upgrades take effect straight away and you are charged at once. Stripe shows the amount before you confirm.
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing month. You keep the higher plan until then.
  • Cancelling: you can cancel at any time from the billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you have paid for, then stops. Your leads, calls and notes stay readable.
  • If a payment fails, Stripe will try again. If it still fails, paid features (searches, website checking, Aby AI) stop until it is paid.

6. Refunds

  • Your first payment back. If Leadaby is not right for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment. If you have used less than 20% of your plan's monthly allowance, we refund that payment in full. We look at searches, website checking and Aby AI, and take whichever you have used most.
  • Used more than that? Then there is no refund for the first month, but you can cancel at any time so you are not charged again. Your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for.
  • After the first month, we don't refund part-months: when you cancel, your plan simply runs to the end of the month you paid for.

To ask, email us from the address on your account. You can see how much of your allowance you have used on your plan page in the app.

As a business customer you don't have the 14-day cooling-off right consumers have, so this is our own promise. It does not affect any rights the law gives you that cannot be excluded. If we fail to provide the service, we will always put it right or refund you for the time affected.

7. Allowances and fair use

  • Allowances reset each calendar month and unused ones do not carry over.
  • When an allowance runs out, only the features that cost us money stop (searches, website checking, Aby AI and enhanced search). Your leads, calls, notes and analytics always stay usable.
  • To protect the service, there are also limits on how much one account can spend on outside services in a month and in an hour. If an account's use is far above normal, we may pause its paid features for a short time and tell you why.
  • One account is for one business. Don't share a sign-in between businesses or resell access.

8. Your outreach and the law

Leadaby is a tool. You decide who to contact and how, and you are responsible for doing it lawfully. That includes:

  • UK calls: screening every number against the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and Corporate TPS (CTPS) within the last 28 days, and keeping your own list of businesses that asked you not to call.
  • UK email and texts: under PECR, you may only send unsolicited marketing email to companies, LLPs and other corporate subscribers, never to sole traders or ordinary partnerships without their consent. Every message must say who you are and give an easy way to opt out.
  • US calls: the TCPA, the National Do Not Call Registry where it applies, state laws (including state Do Not Call lists and calling hours), and honouring every opt-out.
  • US email: CAN-SPAM, including a real sender, a postal address and a working opt-out.
  • Data protection law for any personal data you hold about the businesses you contact.

What the app checks for you, and what it doesn't. These checks are help, not legal clearance:

  • Leadaby shows whether each business has a website, and its business details. It does not mark any lead as OK for cold email: before you email a UK business, check that it is a limited company or LLP (the Companies House register is free to search).
  • We do not hold TPS, CTPS or opt-out lists for you, so Leadaby does not hide numbers on that basis, and no number is ever shown as cleared to call. Keep your own list of businesses that asked you not to call. We do not supply TPS or CTPS screening for you.
  • For US leads, Leadaby does not check the National Do Not Call Registry or any state list, and it does not tell you when you may call.
  • Businesses that asked us to remove them are left out of new searches once we have checked the request. Ones you saved before they asked stay on your list.
  • Leadaby never makes automated calls and never sends an email or message for you. A person always presses send.

Countries other than the UK and US are never marked as safe to contact. If you contact businesses there, the local rules are yours to check.

9. Acceptable use

You must not use Leadaby to:

  • send spam, make automated or pre-recorded calls, or contact anyone who has asked you not to;
  • harass, mislead or pressure the businesses you contact, or say you are from Google or from Leadaby;
  • collect data about people for anything other than offering your own business services;
  • get round plan limits, share accounts, or access another workspace's data;
  • probe, overload or attack the service, or scrape it with bots;
  • break any law.

If you do, we may suspend or close your account (see section 14).

10. Business data from Google

Some business information in Leadaby comes from Google Maps Platform. Google's rules pass on to you:

  • Using it means you agree to the Google Maps / Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Use it inside Leadaby only. Don't copy, scrape, download, store or export Google's names, phone numbers, addresses, ratings or other content outside what the app itself lets you do.
  • Keep the "Google Maps" credit visible wherever Google content appears, and don't hide or change it.
  • Don't use Google content to build a competing product or database.

11. Your data and ours

  • Your work is yours. The notes, call logs, tags and Lead Packs you create belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Leadaby for you.
  • The service is ours. Leadaby's software, design, the Aby character and our own website-check results belong to SCA Systems Ltd. You may use them inside your account while it is active.
  • How we handle personal data is in our privacy policy. Where we hold personal data on your behalf, we do so only on your instructions, keep it secure, and use the processors listed there.

12. Aby AI, enhanced search and website checks are guidance

Aby AI uses an AI model to answer questions about your leads and your line of work. Answers can be wrong or incomplete. Website checks, scores and findings are worked out from the data available when they ran and can go out of date. Check anything important before you rely on it, and don't treat any of it as legal advice. We don't promise that any lead will become a customer. Enhanced search uses the same AI model to suggest kinds of business from your description; check them before you search.

13. Availability and changes

We work to keep Leadaby running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Outside services (Google, Stripe and others) can change or fail. We may improve or change features; if we remove something important you pay for, we will tell you first and you can cancel.

14. Suspension and closing an account

  • You can close your account at any time by cancelling your plan and emailing us to delete your workspace.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or hasn't paid. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix it.
  • If we close Leadaby or your account without your fault, we will refund any unused part of the month you paid for.
  • After an account closes, we delete its data as set out in the privacy policy.

15. Our liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
  • We are not liable for loss of profits, sales, business or goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss.
  • We are not liable for fines, claims or losses that come from your own outreach or your breach of section 8, 9 or 10.
  • Otherwise, our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in those 12 months.

You agree to cover our reasonable losses if a regulator or third party brings a claim against us because of how you used Leadaby to contact people.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For important changes we will email you at least 30 days before they apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.

17. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Before going to court, please email us: most things can be sorted out quickly.

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us.
