Partner terms
Last updated 8 October 2026
1. The programme
The Leadaby partner programme is run by SCA Systems Ltd, company number 17459287, registered office Piccadilly Business Centre, Aldow Enterprise Park, Manchester, M12 6AE, United Kingdom ("we"). These terms sit alongside our terms of service, which also apply to your Leadaby account.
The partner programme is by invitation. We set up your partnership with your email, and you become a partner when you accept it from the partner page in the app, signed in with that email. Accepting means you accept these terms. You must be at least 18. You are an independent partner, not our employee or agent, and you can't make promises or sign anything for us.
2. Your link
- Your link looks like leadaby.com/?ref=yourcode. We agree the code with you when we set up your partnership.
- A visit through your link counts for 60 days on that browser. If the person clicks another partner's link later, the latest link wins.
- The link is credited when that person signs up for a Leadaby account in the same browser. Once an account is credited to a partner, it stays with that partner for ever and never moves to another one.
- If someone blocks browser storage, signs up on another device, or turns attribution off (see our privacy policy), we may not be able to credit you. We can't pay for referrals we can't see.
3. What you earn
- 20% of every payment a customer you referred makes to us, for 12 months from their first payment. Payments after that 12 months earn nothing.
- It is 20% of what they actually pay, after any discount or promo code, in the currency they pay in (pounds or dollars). Amounts are rounded down to the penny or cent.
- We may agree a different rate or length with you in writing. If we do, that written deal applies instead.
- You see your clicks, sign-ups and paying customers on your partner page, and each payout comes with a statement of what it covers. You never see your customers' names or details.
4. Hold, refunds and payment
- Each commission is held for 30 days after the payment it came from. After that it is ready to pay.
- If a payment is refunded, disputed or charged back before we have paid you the commission on it, that commission is cancelled. This applies even after the 30 days if it has not been paid yet.
- If only part of a payment is refunded, the unpaid commission shrinks to match: for example, £43 back on a £129 payment leaves 20% of £86. A commission we have already paid you is never changed.
- We pay monthly, by bank transfer or Wise, once at least £50 (or $50, for dollar commissions) is ready. Below that, it carries over to the next month. Pound and dollar commissions are counted separately.
- Send us the details we need to pay you. We pay the transfer fees, so you receive the full amount. We aren't responsible for a payment that goes astray because the details were wrong.
- If we find a commission was paid by mistake, or for a referral that broke these terms, we may take it off future commissions.
5. Who can't be referred
- Yourself. No commission on your own account, or an account using your email address, or one you control in any other way.
- Anyone who already has, or has had, a paid Leadaby plan when they come through your link.
- Accounts made up, bought, or signed up only to earn commission.
6. Discount codes
We may give you a personal discount code for your audience. It is for you to share; don't post it on coupon or voucher sites or let anyone else promote it as their own. A code gives the customer a discount; it does not credit you by itself, so always share your link with it.
7. How to promote Leadaby
Please do:
- show what Leadaby does today, in your own honest words;
- label every post, video or email that contains your link or code as an ad, clearly and up front (for example "Ad" or "#ad"), as the ASA and CMA expect (and the FTC in the US). A link or code alone is not a label.
Please don't:
- send spam, or send marketing email or texts to people who haven't agreed to get them;
- promise results, income, features or legal clearance Leadaby doesn't give;
- pretend to be Leadaby, or make ads, pages or accounts that look like ours;
- bid on "Leadaby" or "Aby" in search ads, or use them in your domain or social media names;
- use our logo or the Aby character beyond what we give you to use.
Breaking these rules cancels any commission it earned, and we may end the partnership.
8. Tax
Commissions are paid as stated, with nothing taken off for tax. You are responsible for declaring them and paying any tax or National Insurance due where you live. Each payout comes with a statement from us showing the commissions it covers, so you don't need to invoice us. If you are VAT registered, tell us, and send us your own VAT invoice for each payout instead.
9. Ending a partnership or the programme
- You can leave at any time by emailing privacy@leadaby.com.
- We can end your partnership, or change or close the programme, with 30 days' notice by email. Commissions already earned stay payable under these terms.
- If you break these terms, we can end your partnership straight away, and unpaid commissions linked to the breach are cancelled.
- Once a partnership ends, your link stops counting and new payments earn nothing.
- If we change these terms, we will email you at least 30 days before the change applies. Staying in the programme after that means you accept the new terms.
10. The rest
Our liability to you under the programme is limited to the unpaid commissions you have earned. We may share what partners earn in anonymous totals. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions: privacy@leadaby.com.
